Therapeutic Play & Play Therapy Service
-
I am a Certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner, Trainee Play Therapist, and qualified Primary School Teacher. I hold a Master’s in Special Education, and I am passionate about supporting children’s emotional wellbeing by helping them feel safe, understood, and capable through play. My work is rooted in creativity, reflection, and a strong commitment to understanding each child’s inner world.
-
My non-directive approach is rooted in trusting each child’s innate capacity for growth, allowing them to lead the play while I provide a safe, accepting, and attuned presence guided by Axline’s principles.
I prioritise the therapeutic relationship, offering empathy, consistency, and gentle reflection so the child can explore, express, and make sense of their inner world at their own pace. -
I work with children of primary school age, offering a safe and inclusive space for all neurotypes, including neurodivergent and neurotypical children. My practice is child-centred and responsive, meeting each child where they are and supporting their unique way of experiencing, expressing, and understanding the world.
